Visitors have been coming to the scenic seven villages for over a century. Some come for the foods and to sip the wines and beers. Others, for the quality handcrafted products, art, and variety of quaint shops that line the streets of the Amanas. Maybe it’s the ambiance created by the architecture or the numerous festivals that take place in each season.
If you heard the word "Gemütlichkeit" you know what it means. For those who haven't ... Gemütlichkeit is defined as a state of warmth and friendliness. The definition also describes it to include the qualities of coziness, belonging, peace of mind and social acceptance. It’s kind of like being a member in a special club. It is best defined by how you feel while you’re in the Amana Colonies. The pace of life is a little more relaxed and the cares of the outside world are miles away when you’re here in the colonies. Cost
$325 per person and includes bus transportation, driver tip, admission fees, meals, 1 night lodging, and gratuities.
For insurance purposes, all travelers are required to complete the Verona Member Form (no charge) and Verona Trip Waiver Form annually. Please download forms here, complete, and bring to the bus on the day of the trip.
Please note that these forms must be completed annually. If you have traveled with us and completed the forms on a previous 2026 excursion, the forms are not needed.
Registration Details and Deadline
Register online. Mailed in reservations and checks are accepted. Registrations much be received no later than Monday, June 1, 2026.
Refund Policy
UWRA refunds an event fee if cancelled prior to the registration deadline. Refunds after the registration deadline are only processed if a wait-listed registrant can attend. Refunds made by check.
