Epic Systems Guided Walking Tour

Founded in a basement in 1979 with 1.5 employees, Epic is now located in the beautiful countryside of Verona, about 11 miles southwest of Madison. It's unique, themed campus fosters creativity, teamwork, and innovation. Epic's 9-million-square-foot campus features 37 interconnected office buildings (and counting), each with distinctive architecture and a creative theme, as well as a cutting-edge training facility and a five-story underground auditorium.

The campus leverages alternative sources of energy, including 12 M of wind and solar energy and 27,000 tons of cooling produced by one of the largest geothermal systems in North America. The Epic campus includes 1000+ acres of gardens and green spaces.

We are again partnering with the Verona Senior Center for an extensive one-hour walking tour of the Epic Campus. The tour is handicap accessible, however includes a lot of walking.

The tour is limited to 20 people. 

SELF-DRIVE TRIP

This is an in-person self-drive event.  If you are comfortable, you may want to carpool.  The exact location of where to meet will be sent to registered members once confirmed by the Epic contact.

TOUR TIME

We will meet at 10:45am.  The 1-hour tour will start promptly at 11am.

COST

This is a free 1-hour tour.
