Helen Marks Dicks is the Associate State Director of AARP Wisconsin, and is State Issues Advocacy Director for AARP Wisconsin. Her message will be how to best spend our “Bonus” years and where to go if help is needed.
John Sauer, CEO of Leading Age Wisconsin, a consortium of 500 not for profit continuum of care facilities in the state, will discuss trends in elder care facilities such as the rate of cost increases occurring, the overall direction of skilled nursing care as part of residential communities, the access and capacity for assisted living care in the state, and other trends he sees in the industry going forward.
Tim Schiefelbein, UW Credit Union financial consultant, specializes in long term and retirement savings and estate planning Tim will discuss senior financial planning and how to best plan financially for the future when we can not see what our needs may be for care later in life.
Each speaker will present for 20 minutes and we will use the second hour to answer questions from the audience.
