"Resilience in Brain Aging"

This free community event will showcase cutting-edge research in Alzheimer's disease prevention and improving brain health. Speakers will discuss SuperAgers, brain health strategies, and the effects of medications, vitamins, and supplements on memory.

The evening will start with the Healthy Aging Resource Fair at 5:00 p.m. The formal program and speakers will being at 6:00 p.m.

About our keynote speaker

Dr. Emily Rogalski photo

Dr. Emily Rogalski is an expert on SuperAging, in which people seem resistant to age-related changes in memory and thinking skills. She is a clinical neuroscientist and an aging and dementia researcher at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Rogalski is associate director of Northwester's Mesulam Cognitive Neurology and Alzheimer's Disease Center.

Getting there and parking

Gordon Dining & Event Center, 770 West Dayton Street, is located on the UW-Madison campus. The main entrance is located at the corner of Lake and Johnson streets. The event will be held on the 2nd floor. We encourage you to take a bus to the event via City of Madison Metro Transit. If you must drive, consider carpooling with family or friends. There are a limited number of public parking spots in the Lake & Johnson campus ramp, entrance at 301 N. Lake St.; payment is required to park in this ramp. City of Madison parking is available in the State Street/Campus Garage, with entrances at 430 N. Frances St. and 415 N.
