University of Wisconsin - Madison
In January of 2016, Shanna Knueppel of the law firm of Murphy Desmond, S.C., gave us a wonderful seminar on powers of attorney — how to enable trusted agents to make financial and medical decisions for us if we lose our ability to make such decisions for ourselves.
Attorney Knueppel has kindly agreed to present a follow-up seminar on how to plan for the time when our powers of attorney documents have expired — that is, when we ourselves have expired. We all hope to make the disposition of our assets as efficient, economical, and stress-free as possible, and that requires good communication. In this seminar, Attorney Knueppel will tell us what we need to tell our heirs and our financial representatives to help them settle our estates and how to provide them with this vital information.
